Actually, I think it's kind of cool that a command structure emerges in a vacuum - if you think about it, it validates military doctrine that our armed forces use. The best way to win a war game is to emulate the chain of command used by soldiers. To me that is interesting.

I agree with you, I mean for fleet ops in eve and indeed any sort of military activity you need a solid structure and alot of discipline which usually manifests as a hierachy. But when I made my original comments many months ago I was refering to the language used in the video. I mean, at the end of the day this IS a game and nothing more, right?
