Heifer International's Chief Financial Officer, Bob, Bloom visited projects in Nepalgunj, Nawalparasi and Bharatpur from 15 -21 September 2011. Apart from meeting with families who with Heifer's help are moving towards a more food secure, gender equitable and environmentally sustainable future. Bob also witnessed a 6.8 Richter scale earthquake and a strike that brought two cities to a complete halt, making his Nepal experience a complete one. As the CFO Bob will be making decisions that will shape the future of Heifer and the families that it serves. We hope that his experience in Nepal will help him capture the spirit of Heifer while making those decisions for the benefit of the millions of families who are - the true spirit of Heifer.
