I just fell in love! He is so real. I like the casual entrance in such a stuffy, straight-laced setting. He is accessible as a human being and seems like a down-to-earth person under that penguin suit. I could get lost in that voice and those eyes for hours.

@bodiloto @bodiloto Se Lei ha visto Ghiaurov e Siepi dal vivo, il silenzio trovera Lei tra poco tempo. A me Schrott piace, e non direi che il silenzio sarebbe quello che lei vuole (non) ascoltare in Teatro. L'Opera (come la vita) ha bisogno di cose nuove, e lui ci da al meno questo. Mi spiace il suo commento...assai.

I'm actually okay with the soft dynamics. This is, after all, a serenade. I just don't like how his dynamic changes are so sudden and....pounding. It doesn't make sense with the text.

Yeah he didn't sing it all too well this time... too relaxed. But hey, he's not in an opera house.
I heard him sing Giovanni at the Met last season and he did a pretty damn good job. Especially with this.
He plays the part well, too. This is how I imagine Giovanni - a boy who didn't grow up.

Er konnte bestimmt gar nichts vom Orchester hören!!
Schreckliche Idee was in der Staatskapelle zu singen!! Der Toreador Song war ebenso einfach miserabel.
