On June 18,2007 I gave some friends rides in my 1957 BMW Isetta powered by a 190 hp Lycoming airplane engine. Riders include Josh Keller,Jim Simmons,Scott & dog, David Crow and Nod.

  • The fan cage is even on both sides. Must be the turning.

  • Not really. The Isetta I used came from Ebay & had no frame, engine or tranny.

    It was a body only & you can't find an Isetta engine so I used the body for this .

    I do have several other Isettas & have kept those original.

  • pretty cool but ..... it the bar on the fan cage uneven or is that cause your turning, something like that would just annoy the shit out of me

  • insted of puting the prop in the back would it work in the front like an airplane car

  • is it streat legal and how fast can it go?

  • If the engine isn't inside, why use a car? Why not just use an E-Z Boy?

  • Fun, but that massive engine is wasted on not directly driving the wheels - still I'd love to feel how much air this thing makes
