how do you know that this is a railroad model? does it say somewhere on it? i struggle to tell the difference sometimes

J'ai une locomotive Hornby qui s'arrêtait soudainement, parfois... En fait j'ai démonté le boîtier des bogies de la locomotives et il y avait des petites broches en fer qui doivent toucher les roues afin de recevoir le courant électrique. Elles s'étaient tordues avec le temps donc cela produisait un faux contact. Il suffit alors de les redresser à l'aide d'une pince à épiler ou une paire de ciseaux, tous les 6 mois à peu près...

@InterCity82- As you siad about the new DC controller being worse than the old one I totally agree with you. My controller I got with the Hornby 'Blue Highlander' set is really rubbish. It keeps cutting out and the whole layout stoppes. It's really annoying. Grrrr. P.S- is there anything you could reccomend for me to fix it?
