  • ...i now live in Japan (was in the US, few years back), but none of these 1st world (for lack of words) gadgets and lifestyle makes one happy at all...our life in the village is so much rich, poetic and earthbound. Can't wait to return to my homeland, where life is just life...free and beautiful!...i missed the cockcrow in the dawn of the day!!!

    Architect-Engineer!

  • I have visited 3rd world countries. When you open your eyes and see them for who they really are you realize their priorities are great than most in the modern world. While we get wrapped up in material possessions of autos, cable TV, latest electronic devices, big homes. Those in the 3rd world priorities are nature, love, family, necessary food to live, respecting their elders and tradition. In many ways they seem much happier than those in the modern world. Just an observation.
