FE: Shadow Dragon Part 9 (Marth Embarks)

Welcome to Part 9 of my Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon Walkthrough on hard mode. This is a no-kill playthrough. Gaiden Chapters will be added after this walkthrough is complete. (Gaiden chapters were recorded on another file).

--I re-show the intro of this game for those of you who might have skipped the Prologue. As you can see, I just restarted my file on Hard mode. So Jagen will be here but Frey will not.

The main difference between hard mode and normal mode is the damage the enemies deal and reinforcements. Enemy reinforcements arrive at the beginning of the player's turn on Normal. On hard, they arrive after which can really change the tide of the battle if you're not prepared.

Several years have gone by since his escape from Altea and we are now in the Island of Talys. Pirates have stormed the island and we need to clear them out.

Visiting the village will award us with 10000 gold. A lot of which I pretty much use to get our units started with basic weaponry.

Jagan will be dealing a lot of the damage as my other units take the kill for EXP.

The allied kingdoms military always gets owned by the other armies or some ruffians. Christ, not that I am agaisn't peace, but raise the fucking defense budget already, your military suck and can't take care of the defense on their own. They always need a small unit of 5-6-7 units to save their asses.

Gaaaa i don't play this on hard because Frey finished maxing every stats.For me is the best cavalier

You should try though :) you never know you can get some awesome stats with others

Thieves use swords in all games except Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn where they use knives, and since these are the games that feature Sothe, the SSBB trophy is slightly wrong

On the first thought, "I can't believe Jagen couldn't finish of the pirates. Pure Jagens should have good stats early-on (but has bad growth)"

On the second thougt, "Oh I remember this is HARD mode"

I was just like "Oh well. I'll just abuse an Arena in a later chapter". xD*
