Me playing the Chinese Erhu "豫北敘事曲"(Ballad of Yubei)

This video was taken from our school's summer concert on 22/6/07.

I have only practised with the piano accompanist for 3 times, (well... acctually 2 times only.)and was very nervous..... Sorry for the bad video quality.

听你的曲子明显地感觉到，缺乏相关的文化底蕴，虽然是豫北叙事曲­，但却听不出丝毫的河南风味，建议你多听听河南音乐，找一下那种­感觉。音乐是需要文化底蕴的，一旦缺失了这个，音乐便没有了灵魂­。

Both of you played beautifully. I practiced the piano part about 36 years ago when I was in Singapore. You may consdier to put more "feeling" in this music. I also agree that the pianist may play softer.
