This video was created for my grade eleven french class, in which we had to research a Francophone country and create a presentation on said country. My country was Rwanda. I chose this particular country specifically because of the gruesome history it carries with it. The sheer horror of the Rwandan Genocide gave me lots to work with (everyone else gave out chocolate or cake during their presentation- I just gave everyone a depressing video). I am quite proud of this video (even if my french is quite primary) and my proudest achievement to do with it so far is making my father cry when he first viewed it. I hope you feel it is worth taking the time to delve into Esperance(Hope)'s world that I have created for four minutes and fifty-two seconds.
