From 1965 to 1978, iran had the highest annual economy growth at a staggaring 42%. that was the best on the planet. by 1978, iran HAD THE 9TH BIGGEST ECONOMY ON THE planet. iran had the 2nd best automotive industry by 76 in asia. iran's petro chemical industry was the best in asia.

correct ,but he was also educated and patriotic . on top of that he was ready to change . only if people had given him the chance maybe we could have lived without prison , torture , thousands of excecutions , war ,rape ,depression, ..................

i have been in both shah's and islamic republic's prisons and all i can say is that the latter was nightmare. and trust me prisons represent the government.
