Here are my goldfish. They are all roughly 7 inches. I have had them for 3 years but i recently had to put them in someones pond as i was overstocked.

In this video they are in a 24 gallon aquariam. When keeping goldfish it is reccomended that you have 20 or more gallons of water per fish. This is so the water quality doesnt go bad. It can look crystal clear but it still could be high in ammonia, nitrites or nitrates.

  • ehh.. idk where you got ur advice BUT thats SO wrong. you need atleast 25 gall per fish! you should have a 75-100 gallon because they can live up to 40 years with a big tanks like that!!! if they ar ein small tanks like that one they die sad deaths :( google it. wwasnt trying to b rude there!

  • They are in a pond now so they have much more than 100 galons ;)

I now have a lil one inch goldfish in that aquariam now. He was a fry from the shubunkin and the gold common.

If you cycle your tank correctly, do regular water changes and have a decent filtration system then you can get away with it. But i understand its better to be safe then sorry.

  • Both are comets .

  • very nice big goldfish. wish mines were like that

  • Wait, you had to give them up? Aw... But they're so pretty!

  • xvres

  • what' kind of fish is the big white fish with an orange head and a huge tail?

  • @Bizzz2468

blah blah blah blah blah....those are guidelines! Doesn't meant that you have to follow them. I have many natural tanks that are way overstocked and the fish are fine...and plus I have no filters or air stones in them. All natrual, live plants, shrimps and fish...and only 30-40% water change once a month!

  • Oh my that fish is amazing

  • Beautiful , but those fish are not commons but comets ... commons doesn't have that long tails

  • what tank is that

  • @wolftowerstudios well with bowls you can't really get rid of ammonia too well unless you have a filter... Hav you cycled your bowl yet? And the 'whitish black thing' may be a fungus on your fish... ammonia in a tank usually just makes the tank foggy and when you take a ammonia nitrate and nitrite test the numbers would be all over the place. oh PS this is my new account so that is why there is a different name(:
