Just had this clutch installed on my truck, and it started making these grinding noises after about 30 miles of driving. I have no idea why its grinding like that???????

Update...
Flywheel bolts somehow stretched, that was the issue

  • my dual disk in my G56 tranny makes the same noise its normal some trucks rattle more than others due to wear in the tranny, what i did a few hard drops in third to get the clutch hot seemd to help with the noise its still there but not as loud, but the dual disks do take a long time to break in

  • @86powerram it wasnt normal DD rattle I have that what happened was one or more flywheel bolts fell out and were rattling around

  • @cummindude thats crazy, then it sounded like the time i snapped all 8 of the rivits holdin the stock flywheel together

  • we had this with are old cummins and it stops after a while

  • it sounds like its actually catching and slowing the engine...

  • Isnt that just the normal dual disk rattle?
