  • This isn't a reverse triangle. It's just a standard triangle from the back. It's only reverse when you lock in on the opposite side of the arm. You can do a standard triangle from the guard or the back or a reverse triangle from the guard or the back, and this is not reverse.

  • that is definently good to learn, good shit man gooood shit

    great tips

  • At my gym we call it "The Backpack of Doom"! I find it easy to remember, as long as it works I don't care what it's called.

  • Jeans?

  • @pyro5178 There arent 2 triangles for each position. I suppose you could call it whatever you want after all a triangle is a triangle. However the technique shown above more closely resembles a reverse triangle. check out Ryan Hall(2009 ADCC third place) He has one of the best triangle games out there.

  • @crabbit87 I've been training at Gracie Barra for over a year and a half. You have to be careful with a lot of these videos online. Some have good techniques but incorrect names, while others just have incorrect techniques.

  • @pyro5178 Sources?

  • @crabbit87 No, it's a standard triangle from the back. Locking up the triangle choke under the shoulder is what constitutes a standard triangle choke; locking up the triangle on the side of the neck without the arm is what constitutes a reverse triangle. This just happens to be a standard triangle from the back, but that doesn't make it reverse.
