  • @SamWiseGingy thats christianity my friend

  • it sounds like he keeps saying, "God is like a parrot."

  • @mrbushpilot

Evidence sir. If you want to me agree with the proposition that your god heals people then bring the evidence.

You speak of miracles as if you have seen them but when asked for evidence you go into a song and dance.

  • @mrbushpilot

There are healings with unknown causes and there are plenty of rumors of "supernatural" healings. But you have no evidence of a supernatural healing. If so bring it on.

  • @mrbushpilot

All you need to make your case is evidence.

When you have some let me know.

  • @SamWiseGingy What's your definition of a monster? Have you seen how big some giant squid and whales? Oh of course they don't count because there's already lots of evidence for them. Imagine if there wasn't evidence for Robert Wadlow, I take it you would laugh at the idea of a 9ft tall man? Well just like that freakishly tall man has been proved, what makes you sure there weren't any even bigger before or that there couldn't be similar size-freaks in the sea world aswell?

  • @SamWiseGingy Ah the wise words of Derren brown, or richard dawkins maybe. That's the thing, the supernatural isn't really extraordinary now there's been millions of sightings and experiences etc. If one person has claimed something then maybe it would be extraordinary.

  • @mrbushpilot

    1. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

    2. Claims asserted without evidence can be rejected without evidence.

    3. There are any number of ideas that can not be proven wrong that are not worthy of belief.

  • I your god cured an amputee then there would be before and after xrays and before and after photos and all sorts of other evidence. Physical evidence. You are right, eye witness evidence would mean much in the area of miracles. That's why sea monsters and such seemed to go extinct with the invention of the camera.

  • @mrbushpilot

If supernatural things were actually happening you would have some evidence. Where is your evidence?

I realized that all things can not be "proven." But all things that I consider to be truth have evidence.
