Next generation PC 12's front office at the Farnborough airshow, amazing! Oh and a bonus shot of the Vulcan taxiing in after its flight display.

  • How much would a top spec PC-12 Next Generation cost?

  • Not sure, but a 2007 model is offered at over $4 Million.

  • I've been flying with a G1000 for a few years now, and the "glass cockpit" has added more joy to my flying. I feel safer, more informed, and more in-tune with the airplane. At this point, I would rather have a cheaper plane with glass, than A pricier plane without it.

  • I's rather have an engine failure at Vr in the PC-12, then in a King Air or Metro, etc...

  • @toomanystupidvideos I agree they're fantastic. But i think people are losing the skill and art of flying because of all this advanced tech. There is always going to be a downside to technological advancements.

  • @LordOfRot I'd have to completely disagree with that... I'd rather live than have an awesome chance of dying, but that's just me.

  • @toomanystupidvideos

I've only flown Turbo 182s and used both glass and the older gauges. The G1000 DRASTICALLY changes the flight experience and situational awareness. Its also much more reliable and Very easy to learn

  • @toomanystupidvideos I am not sure rather or not i prefer glass over traditional round dial. I trust both systems, however i am concerned about a glass cockpit system being difficult to operate. All those buttons just to control the computer seem confusiong. Should I learn in a glass plane or a traditional plane?

  • Mmmm those G1000's are yummy!

  • new PC-12 also has FMS nice alike the proline

  • The pilatus is good space wise. cockpit has ton of room, and the cabin is same as a b200 if not larger. Fuel burn at t/o is around 600 lbs/hr and high level cruise is around 300. The older pc-12 are great too, just the ng has a newer engine (more power longer), and cockpit is awesome. And yes they do have a lav.

  • how is the pilatus space wise, does it have a bathroom? how much fuel does it burn an hour and why not just buy an older pilatus and stick a g1000 in it, is that possible, thx

  • Ive been flying this machine for 3 months now. After coming off an older twin with steam gauges and no gps,....it is a DREAM!!! You honestly forget that it has one engine. What other single engine airplane can haul 2+9, fl280 and go for 6.5 hours at 270 ktas....none. Well not all at once, but you get my drift. :-p
