@sergio3089 they were all 5 gears and the ratios changed allot. in 81* they honda made a bunch of new wheelers. the 200, 2nd year of the 185 and the 250r. and i will admit those new model 81s were slow compared to 86 or 87. now mine isnt that story. i took an 86 200 that had the rod thrown through the block, (The owner was dumb and over revved the throttle) so i took the trani from that and put it in my 81 which has the motor rebuilt and in good shape and it beat an arctic cat 650 atv in a race.

dude my 200s hit 60 no prob but it does have performance clutch that i turn were u dont let off the gas to shift

87 maybe they changed a bit, cuz i know for sure it does 55, i went alongside my bros enduro and my siss honda civic, both said 55.
