nope, not generally. but I do from time to time. Usually just use a product called turbo clear.

Have you ever had the alcohol react with the plastic? i have a funny taste to some I brewed and wonder if maybe the plastic bucket has released some chemicals. Thanks for sharing the gread vid series. I have enjoyed them.

nope, never noticed. but I guess it could happen you should really use food grade plastics. maybe by sheer luck my bucket was food grade. but i didn't intend it. these vids were really the basic or basics, if you get into it get a fermenter and demijohn

brilliant mate i have just watched all of these and cant wait to see how it all turns out, i am going to have a go at the apricot one for my first time try, i have to admit i never realized you could use tinned fruit to make a wine, i will also check out the ferment it website cheers.

it is really easy, you can make wine from just about anything, I have made one from coffee. didn't turn out so well. if you are just starting out have a look at one of my other vids "an even cheaper way to make wine" that is easier still.

not tried chinee apple wine. I did a blueberry based on the same technique some time ago, should be just about ready for drinking now. the star fruit wine is not clearing. still very cloudy.
the apricot is really quite clear, think it might be bottled soon. tastes pretty good now really so should age in the bottle nicely. another vid should be coming up soon about the bottling process.
did you put your recipe on the ferment-it website?
