  • Awesome...thank you all!

  • peace.

  • Peacemakers: we WILL transform this world!

..may we continue to work together!

..may we continue to have audacious hope!

..may we birth a new world into being!

  • Wow, beautiful. This brings tears to my eyes.

  • Thank You for sending me this video, I will certainly pass it on and live this way. There are wonderful, love -filled people in abundance on Earth, this gives me hope.

  • A very wonderful story. I will :-D

  • Blessed be the peacemakers, let us stand for peace together!

  • Our efforts would be far more effective if we stood for far longer. As many activists are asserting now: we MUST get outside our comfort zones to effect change. We must risk everything to save our children and our grandchildren--to save our whole world. If we ALL were to stand for an entire day, in solidarity, in peace, and in silence, how powerful would be that event? I'll stand with you for your five minutes this time, but PLEASE let's do a whole day the next time.

  • I'm from Los Angeles but will be in Detroit, MI on Mothers' Day weekend for the wedding of two friends. The entire wedding party has been invited to join the wedding celebrants in a local park the next day to honor the original intention of Mothers' Day and to stand up for peace. I'll bring a bell from California to ring at 1:00.

    Peace and Justice,

    Kathleen O'Nan

  • Standing Women of Ohio, thank you!

I read Sheri Mehdi's wonderful story of The Great Silent Grandmother Gathering and loved it. But to hear it told by all of you moved me tears and I loved the story even more.

    Peace and Justice,

    Kathleen O'Nan
