My name is Trevor Grigg and Im running for seat 18B of the Idaho House of Representatives. Im a native Idahoan, born and raised in the Treasure Valley with strong family roots running deep in this great state. I love our state, the quality of life it provides, and the freedoms we enjoy, qualities I hope to preserve for Idahos future generations.

I grew up in Eagle Idaho and was active in my community both through my church and through Boy Scouts of America. At the age of 19, I was called and served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in central-Canada. Those two years in Canada taught me about personal responsibility in our communities, the responsibilities that we have as individuals towards our neighbors, and the dangers of socialism and over-governance.

After returning home from Canada, I enrolled at BSU and spent two summers working for Southern California marketing company . My second summer with the company I was promoted to Marketing Manager in charge of all sales and promotion for Riverside and San Diego counties. After two years, though, I had enough of California so I took my money and ran to Idaho. Back here at home, I started my own window washing service, applying the contract and marketing skills learned from my job in California. We are now in our third year of business. While seeking a bachelors degree in Entrepreneurial Management and a minor in Political Science at Boise State University, I served as President of the College Republicans for two years and served on the Student Distinguished Lecture Committee, organizing conservative activism on campus and in the city of Boise. This experience led me to run for student body president. I was elected in April 2008 and was grateful to be re-elected in April 2009 (something that has happened only twice in BSU history). I also received the largest number of votes in student government history. We are proud to have lobbied and delivered to our students the lowest tuition increase in the state in 2009 and, from the looks of it, will deliver the same this April.
