Sure wish I knew what the hell they are sayin...And, BTW, has anyone done any work to match the vid with the sounds of the explosions, cause that would be a big help to analyze the micro chain of events...

Good work Brenda - however I think you may have to check the frame numbering.
I put the 29.97fps sequence from 0:06 to 0:25, from the same video, through VirtualDub and slowed it down to 5fps and got good results. Prior to that though, I added time and frame numbering with Sony Vegas, at normal speed, and found no frame drop nor duplicate frames - frame numbering did not match yours unfortunately.

The flame appears to be sucked back into the reactor building. Don' t know what it really did but it looks like it was sucked in like a vacuum cleaner. now 600,000 little plutonium pellets are blown all over the place. some blown into dust. 1/10,000,000 micro-gram (one ten millionth ) will kill you. They're the size of 357 Mag slugs, more or less. and some argue guns need to be outlawed......

Nuclear Agencies now reporting the reactors damaged by earthquake the cause of meltdown, not tsumani as reported earlier.
The sound could be matched to some degree, but if the distance between the camera and the plant was known, it could be matched exactly.

Because of the 3D (time as the 4th) approximations that compression does, I doubt that the frame numbers would match, unless both were done as as FFV1 or Lagarth, or Huffvuv, or similar.I wish I had the original HD source. I also wish that Avidumux's filers had a realtime levels curve. Thanks for the Compliment : )
