The ATC voice didn't mention wind speed and direction just after take-off clearance!!

I did use ATC, but only for take-off and landing. I usually cancel my IFR flightplan as soon as I reach my initial cuise altitude. I reactivate it about 50 miles before the top of descent . Nowadays I also use Radar Contact for long haul flights. It gives you the ability to let your co-pilot handle all the communications. Very handy for the en-route hand-offs!

No, I let the sim run and do other stuff in the mean time. Like administration, going to the gym or just clean the house. I'm not the type of person that could sit still for 10 hours. ;-)

Your Fs2004 doesn't hung during long flight?
I carried out a lot of long flights but I gave up because in my flights a computer often hanged after a few hours,I had to save my flight progress, I got angry.
