Here you will see my second ball python clutch of the 2011 season. I've had two Burm clutches and two ball python clutches so far and have several more to come! This particular clutch is yet another possible het Pied batch of eggs. Fingers are crossed on these two clutches!

  • How did this clutch turn out?

  • Hey I was wondering if you had any albino burmese python babies up for adoption? I recently had my baby albino burm die on me from a respiratory infection and really want another. Please let me know if you do and how much please. Appreciate it. Thank you

  • i think its a calcium issue like brian..when i used to breed chickens with my dad they would lay eggs that had the little craters like that and some with extra stuff(looked like crust kinda0 and it was just calcium differences within the hens. im not too sure how it applies to bp eggs but i think its just a calcium thing and it shouldnt effect the eggs.

  • Brandon,

I've had clutches where the eggs have been pitted just like the ones in your video. It doesn't seem to have any negative effect on the outcome.

The only thing you can do is keep your fingers crossed that they'll be fine.

It might have something to do with the female not being able to produce as much calcium for the egg shell. But again all that matters is that they hatch.

I think they'll be fine bud.

Good luck with the rest of your season.
