Could you tell me what the current supply should be at my home to be able to run the 40 or 170 pounds furnace. I live in Europe and I have a power-output of 3x380V AC.

there seems to be a discrepancy between the door video and the wiring? when, where and how did you place the holes for the heating rods?

If I remember correctly (it's been several years since I bought some) they were $160 each, includes shipping. Kanthal moved the SiC operation from New York to Scotland, so the air freight ads a bit to the overall cost. I am staying away from the cheap Chinese rods. I am running 5 rods in my current furnace, and bought 8 rods, so I have a few spares stored under my bed. I check the current on them regularly, and they don't seem to have aged much over the last 3 years.
