  • Anyone knows the year this aired?

  • I agree, Intel FTW

  • I don't think anyone will intelligently argue the fact that Intel has the fastest consumer-level processors on the market. However, these processors always suffer on a bang-per-buck comparison. By and large, looking at performance and power consumption per dollar, AMD processors will give you the better deal. However if you have the cash and you must have the fastest system possible you must go with Intel at this point.

  • AMDs are real processors.

    So are VIAs and ARMs.

  • ** Oh, and I have one more thing to say to you Intel haters.

I'm not trying to say that AMD processors are HORRIBLE. But many of them simply cant live up to a top of the line Intel processor such as the Core 2 Extreme.

Many people use AMD processors because they're cheaper. Although that's true, keep this in mind... You get what you pay for.

Top of the line performance = Lots of money.

  • Well god, I ended up getting a 1200W Thermaltake Toughpower. I love it. It's a very nice PS. It runs quietly and it's very reliable.

  • Try a silverstone strider 1000wt

  • Yeah, except in the magic reverse world of Age of Conan where your frame rate actually increases with antialiasing on due to bad game coding.

  • Oops, I had that the other way around. If it's ON, you have better picture quality. If it's off, it looks blurry
