This house used to feel so warm..
The heater works but I'm chilled to the bone
Oh, this room never felt so big.
There's not enough conversation to fill the empty spaces.
How can you love someone and not know them at all?
Chorus:
It's a thin disguise, living our lives behind a thin disguise.
One of these days if I got the time,
I'll show you what I'm like on the inside.
I talked, you used to hear me so well.
Now all the best conversations are with myself.
Oh I wish I knew what's pulling you away,
And the space that's grown between us,
Gets a little bigger everyday.
How can you love someone and not know them at all?
Chorus:
It's a thin disguise, living our lives behind a thin disguise.
One of these days if I got the time,
I'll show you what I'm like on the inside.
Recorded in 2004, Warrant: Greatest and Latest is one of the best albums I have ever heard!
Jani Lane is the greatest frontman. Ever.
Greatest & Latest is a music album by American band Warrant featuring new studio versions of their (greatest) material. It also features three previously unreleased (latest) songs "The Jones", "Southern Comfort", and "Bad Tattoo".
The album was re released twice in 2004 under new titles "'Cherry Pie all the Hitz 'n' More" and the import version "Most Wanted" with slightly different track lists to the original.
The album features a new version of Warrant's biggest hit single Heaven which peaked at number 2 on The Billboard Hot 100[1]. The song was used in Tool Academy's series finale, and was covered by American punk band New Found Glory on the compilation album Punk Goes Metal.
