Rachel Tucker & Louise Dearman Defying Gravity on Wed 31/8/11 evening.

Rachel was outstanding, although no riffs, her acting was on fire.

I don't have anything else from this show, so don't ask.

  • i miss her riffs:( and her second bring me down:( but hopefully her last will be incredible....and dare i say it the best last show of any elphey:)

  • @mikeypalmer1 riffs don't make it! This performance was incredible because of her passion and her acting! Her vocal is stunning anyway! Riffs aren't a necessity

  • I was at the matinee this day, and she was just as incredible then! I can't understand how she keeps this level of vocal strength, genius and amazingness up for 8 shows a week, especially when she has 2 in one day! :) Love her :) My absolute idol! :) <3 Plus she's a lovely person! :) (I've been lucky enough to meet her twice!) :) :) :) <3 <3 <3 (can you tell I'm a bit of a fan! :P)

  • Ohhhh I was at this performance, loved it soooooo much, Tucker is just amazing at playing the role, best Elphie in my eyes, sooooo glad she's staying for another year :D Love Tucker one half of Oz's greatest team :D <3

  • Also, there is no way she could get a contract that would allow her to take a two week break every two months..... just saying.

  • @kosrox14 go listen to her matinee performance from September 3rd. I think you'll rethink your comment.

  • @kosrox14 I disagree, I was at this performance, I heard no vocal strain whatsoever, and have heard of no vocal strain at all in her run which wasn't due to natural illness. I trust her professional instinct to carry on, and I believe she will be completely fine. :)

  • I actually like her first bring "meeeeee" down this performance.

  • Same date as my birthday!!! :D :D...sorry i couldn't resist lol x

  • @leelee987654 i am not disputeing the fact that she sings it incredibly......my personal opinion is that she went through a stage not so long ago where every show she was hitting the higher note on the second bring me down and i miss that......and tbh i enjoy listening to her riffs....it makes it her own and thats why i miss them! she has an incredible voice don't get me wrong!

  • @mikeypalmer1 her own last won't be for at least 13 months! she said she's contracted til October next year. but I think she'll certainly be on fire for Louise's last and other cast members leaving in December!
