we need more like this man in every goverment department through out britain.its nothing more than common sence values.dont mention common sence values or you may be shot.
In the past 3 months it has become worse. Staff being laid off, repair jobs unable to be done, an overflow of patients... they are even considering closing several parts of the catering dept at the SUHT (so no specialised dietary meals for those that need it)
A royal comes to visit, or the PM and they suddenly spend about £2k on paint and thousands more on making what he sees look nice and presentable.
I currently live in the U.S. would you prefer to have a cut-throat murderous HMO system where over 20,000 people die every year? Make adjustments if you must but DO NOT dismantle NHS...Universal care must prevail. America is an evil selfish country, do not aspire to be like those callous bastards. Make the necessary adjustments for spending and improve what you have. Fire who you need to fire, make your examples but do not adopt U.S. ideals. It's a recipe for murder, trust me!
Good well researched piece of work. I'm glad to see that people are starting now to see where the problems actually are in the NHS. For a long time people used to take the stand point that it was frontline staff loosing interest. This is definately not the case. A lot of frontline staff work extra hours for no pay in an attempt to get waiting times down. Such a travesty that people would think that it was the front line staff causing the problem.
Alot of money has been wasted by this government, and there has been so many complete disasters.
Ofcourse the 18 years of tory rule that damaged the NHS gave labour a reason to pump so much money into it and the fact there was no competent opposition until just recently meant they could get away with murder.
the nhs problem stems from people that have this weird habit of wanting to frequent clinics and health centres, god knows what they do there, these premises should be for the ill and not repeat prescription people.

The NHS is sick! Too many people wanting their piece of the pie, no one cares about the patients. Just the money it will bring them.
