  • Sally and I just reviewed this brew. Now that I have checked on youtube I see a number of reviews on this alcohol bomb. My God....you look young! I couldn't find the cirtus I wanted, too much of a boozy taste with a good malt back bone. Kinda hurt my feelings...somehow I got the IBUs but not a strong hop bite.

  • @pinkync Cool. Yeah I look very young in this vid hehe. Yeah it is a monster of a beer for sure. Cheers!

  • Try it out of a pint glass, much better.

  • @rjsimone1 I will the next time I can get it. Cheers!

  • At 11.5% AVB this beer can be aged longer. I have tried the fresh 2010 and an aged 2008 and I find that the older tastes much smoother! Nice review! I think the older this beer gets the less boozy it feels!

  • @bigpapykane Yeah that is right, high ABV beers can usually be aged for a long period of time. But in the case of IPA's the hop flavor tends to fade over time. I like IPA's to be hoppy though so i don't age them, i want them as fresh as possible to get the most flavor out of the hops. But thats just a personal preference. It deffiently becomes smoother overtime though! Thanks and cheers!

  • When you say "craft beer" it sounds like you say "crap beer" lol

  • @DenisLD : Haha thanks :-P Well yes im am very lucky to get so much american craft beer! It seems pretty much hard to get any where out of Denmark hehe. But the store where i buy my beer is the 2nd best in Europe according to rate beer! :-)

  • @Chad9976 : Well i sure get alot! :-)

  • Interesting, I'm still hoping to try their Imperial Porter, when I go to New York next month.

Did you know that you're extremely lucky to get so many American craft beers in Europe (I guess Denmark is just cooler than some other countries hehe). I wish we got that here in Montreal... :P

Nice Haircut, by the way! +)
