I was watching the highlights of a game in Elitserien when I saw this goal by Pär Arlbrandt that reminded me of David Perron's goal that I saw a few days earlier, so I just had to compare them with each other, and god damn they are almost identical!
Keep it up Perron and Arlbrandt!
One thing worth mentioning is that these two goals were just like a week or two appart from each other.
Enjoy!
The toe drag through the front leg is much harder to pull off at full speed as compared to a toe drag through your back leg. Perron's goal is considerably better. Mainly because it was in the NHL which is the best league in the world. The goal by Arlbrandt was good too, but his moves were pulled on players that wouldn't crack a NHL lineup. Still sick goals by both players, but not identical.

@lhf1996 that's a fairly large assumption. and you know what happens when you assume? you make an ass out of u and me. :) but seriously im from north america and i agree with you that the swedesh and finnish leagues are all about hockey swag and i love that shit.

that is so damn similar, but Perron's is a little bit harder, pay attention to how Perron brings it through his legs, he has to do this because the defender is closer. awesome video!

what was number 27 thinking? letting arlbrandt walk right infront of the tender.

I think that arlbrandts was better, way smoother! a good thing with the swedish elitserien is that players dont style like n thenhl, btw if u ask an american(a human that lives in north america) to compare two goals, one nhl, one sel, the nhl-goal is better no matter what!

Both were great, but Perron's is much harder to do while maintaining your speed. He had his left leg forward when he swept it between his legs, which makes it look like he's trying to get off a shot, and forces him to do a really strong pivot to get the puck on the other side and power around the defender. Arlbrandt's move is a modified inside-out move where he puts it between his feet instead of under the defender's stick. Still great, but something you can do at full speed.

@ankmannen thats because theyre two differnent moves Arlbrandts move was just the regular put ur stick back look for a pass and pull it up through your legs, Perrons move was act like your turning and put the puck through your legs with one leg in front of the other, Perrons move takes more skill to do

@BlackSpider1818 What makes you say that?

if you watch the full length... perron took it from his own end & out rushed 3 guys & finished it off. who care how "pretty" the move was, it was sick without a doubt
I voted it the best goal of the year b/c of the fact he did all the work
