I think he's trying to tell us something...

@nigelphang TANX YOU FINALLY SOMEONE SAYS IT

if you truly knew how to fleche... you would know that you don't run... you literally spring yourself out of balance towards the enemy in an all out attack... it is very hard to block it done correctly.

I've fenced epee for a year and a half now, and sabre for around four months, and I really wish Expert Village didn't have the monopoly on youtube instruction videos. Whenever I want help with a technique I can only ever find them and their videos are so bad and useless!
I would put the fleche down as an advanced technique, so advanced I haven't even learned it yet, despite having fenced for a year and a half. Focus on the basics and get them down- good lunges, hits and parries go much further!

Completely wrong because in this style of flesh by the time your foil has reached the opponent you no longer have right of way due to the attack ending when your back foot lands.

After two years on You Tube this individual should have realized, by now, the gross and misleading mistakes he has made in his videos and be responsible enough to remove them or at the very least respond to the unanimous condemnation of his submissions.
Please, please remove your clutter so as not to waste the time of people who are looking for valid instruction!!!

@nigelphang I agree. These lessons will give ppl the right idea, but if ppl mirror them they will develop bad habits.

Whether or not it's an "award" isn't really relevant. But what is is the fact that you do not get a yellow card for passing an opponent. You are only penalized if you collide with an opponent (corps a corps). However, stepping off the strip is a penalty of one meter.
I really appreciate the good will of this person is posting these lessons but they are terrible. If anyone wants to see what good lesson on video look like check out David Littelle's stuff - also posted on You Tube.

a yellow card is not awarded. there is nothing nice or rewarding about getting a yellow card.
