  • If you put one of the old brake pads over the caliper piston when using the C clamp to push the piston back in it will be straight and not damage the caliper or caliper piston.

  • dude over kill with the brake cleaning solution LOL

  • thats not the proper tool to squeeze the cylinder in you will fucked the calipper because pressure is not uniform and not evenly spread on the edges i guess is the red neck way to change brakes good luck

  • Hello Norwood92jc

Ive just changed a set of brake pads and discs on my sisters citreon c1 every thing went fine with the parts wtc. But when i poped open the bonnet i noticed brake fluid was all over the brake cylinder and on the brake fluid resivour. I had the cap closed when i was doing the brakes. The fluid did not go down is it a posibility that it just over flowed out the top of it iam just a bit concerned. I have done a few the past but this is the first with this problem.

  • THANK YOU! Finally a video that shows u where the fuck to put the dam lubricant!

  • how can i stop my brakes on the driver side from smoking because i had forgot to spray that side when i was installing them when i ran out of brake cleaner spray

  • FYI too some people. The Bearing Nut. or 1inch i should say. Need's a Torque rench because anyone who OVER tighten's that nut will Damage the bearing's. so be Careful.

  • If I was going to the mechanic, he woudn't be it. He knows how change them, but he sure forgets a while lot of stuff!

BTW, i just myself a great deal on a full front and back breaks package through Advance Auto Parts. If you call 888-338-4516 and mention CC20, you get 20% on everythign they got. Use it.

  • put the old break pad and push the piston in...

    rest good work..

  • dude weres ur jack stand?

  • no jack stands, forgot the wheel seal, only used a C-clamp to push in the brake cylinder, no grease for the bearing, spray the hell out of the rotor with brake cleaner and then smear it with greasy ass hands.... this video should be titled: how NOT to change your breaks and rotors
