thanks for sharing - i was a student at the siu lum pai school under alan b. in munich in the 80's - i was fortunate to participate in two seminars with sifu kong - he was awesome and yes standing through lau gar was a painful but great experience ;)

I remember you. I use to go early in the afternoons cause Sylvester had the keys to the school on Hollywood Blvd. I think I still have one of those old Blue tee shirts with the Sil Lum Pai logo. Last I saw Sylvester he moved to NJ and was pretty much doing his own thing.

yep that is bucksam kong. anyone who saw him practice or show some techiques can tell. he was very skinny back then but even at his young age you wouldn't have done well messing around with him. i saw this video 8-10 years ago the first time. thanks for loading these up. the quality of the video is not great but therefor the kung fu is absolutely outrageous. and for anyone who thinks there is no power...if you ever get shown some techiques by him you will see...he is a friendly master. true.

Very true. BuckSam Kong is a very strong but humble person. His classes were grueling at times , taking quite a while just to get through Lau Gar once. This is from my super 8 film collection. So the transfer has something to be desired.
