  • fuckin RESPECT.... people, respect is due where respect is due, sick lude man...props

  • @MrGhostwhowalks considering VTEC is an acronym for Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control, then ya, it is kinda like Honda's own variable cam technology. BTW they were the inventors of this type of system.

  • @insatiableTy

Correct me if I'm wrong folks.

I think Vtec is basically Hondas way of having variable Cam technology. Hondas engines are made to rev high in the first place; when Vtec cuts in, the cams have a shift that causes inlet/exhaust valves to operate at higher power. Basically, when Vtec shift takes places, its ''like'' a high end turbo charger; higher transit through revs & more power.

Ive gotta say, importsports sucks (i know from tons of experience with them and not one good day) and half those other shitty aurora and denver tuners blow as well. I know lots that are happy with pfi and revolutions but besides them ur kinda screwed around here

  • Sick

I agree that many Hondas WERE riced out, but don't you realize that was like 10 years ago? That was the thing back in the day, and now people have turned their attention to performance and pushing the limits in these motors. Obviously you don't realize that many enthusiasts buy Hondas because they're LIGHT. Less mass=more speed. Hondas don't need 2K hp and x amount of torque to be fast. I agree, torque is essential, but not much of a worry for imports compared to domestics.

  • I have a H22...and to be pushing 872hp out of a 1.8-2.2 L?...fuckin insane bro!

  • @wombiesmurf shut the fuck up

  • @womblesmurf exacly the muscle car will make twice the hp...i mean theres no point of having that much hp on a honda if ur not gonna have tq cause thats what helps to push the car alot harder specially on a HONDA (which is pretty much the worst jap u can get) and im not talking shit on imports or japanese car i love them all i but handas are just simply sad and they have a bad reputation cause most ricers drive those cars
