Gameplay from Robocop 3, developed by D.I.D. and published by Ocean, playing on the Commodore Amiga vintage home computer. Retro Gaming.

This is not a review, walkthrough, playthrough, or demonstration of my playing ability.
It's more a case of me speaking my thoughts while playing the games, many for the first time, and most for the first time in a very long time... so it's all a little spontaneous and random.
Predictably, as I never practice before recording, I usually play very badly.

Given that I am playing many of these games for the first time, and everything I say is completely off the cuff, you probably shouldn't take what I say overly seriously. The opinions that I express are my feelings at the time, but it's entirely possible that they would be different if I were to take the time to get to grips with the game.

However, given that these videos are intended to show that "first time experience", I believe they have some validity or merit.

  • I've never played this game on my Amiga but I'm definitely going to seek it out.

  • @banditrw22 It's well worth it :)

  • Great game (and great vid Steve)

Loved the atmosphere that this game created with the moody music and shaded, muted graphics. DID really knew how to shift those polygons around on the Amiga.

Have you tried this on an A1200? I just wonder if the frame rate is noticeable better.

  • @DingKong I was playing this on a souped up 1200 (with all the powerful bits turned off, if memory serves)

  • This along with Wings, It Came from the Desert & Waxworks can keep you going for a lifetime.

  • @LeShark75 I haven't played those others, but if Wings is even remotely as much fun as Knights Of The Sky.... yup... that'd do it :D

  • I love this game. It was so classy. It was definitely the best of the Robocop games on the Amiga... in fact,I reckon it was the best Robocop game ever. I had it on the A500. It played just the same. Great game.

  • Peter Weller turned up in Dexter last year. Not particularly good, but he'll always have Robocop (whether he likes it or not).

  • GTA on Amiga.

  • Oh man the indoor shooting sections look crazy awesome! The enemies look bizarre but in a good way.

  • Loved this game...the atmosphere of both the driving and shooting sections was incredible, even if the fighting parts were a bit too awkward and frustrating... It was unusual becoming familiar with the story of Robocop 3 in this game, quite a while before they actually got around to making it as a movie!

  • n-sync... :)))

    I wish you recover soon.
