Working with background images in Revit Architecture is not difficult, if you know some basic techniques.

Revit does not support background images directly, but does allow background effects. This video explores the possiblities within Revit, and what you can do with the images post-process in image-editing software. What better way to integrate your project site context, or insert your project into otherwordly locales; 3ds Max not required.

  • @gringo406 if u are using 2010 or 2011 version there is a walk-through button under the view tab and then press the down arrow under the 3d view there will be a button called walk-through, you can then go along a path and depending on what you want to show and how far you want each frame to show you can edit everything from the side bar or click edit you can slow down the speed of your walk-through and play around untill you get a nice smooth without lag walk-through.
