Right, so my camera would not start until the last set so I am tired in this video. 150kg shrugs in the smith. Form was way better on the first sets fyi. Still, doing this raw without straps or belts or anything. Good for my lower arms and my grip.

  • Yo. What's the benefit of doing shrugs with so much weight? Why not more reps with less weight? Seems to me that 10-11 rep series would work just as fine as 6 rep series, no?

  • @1971ojoalparche1971 Afaik the trapetzius muscle work like every other muscle and will get bigger if you use heavier weights/few reps. Try to get bigger biceps with highrep low weight sets and you will see what I mean.
