The eIUS Project highlights the successful use of
e-Infrastructure. The Device Modelling Group within the of Electronics and Electrical Engineering at the University of Glasgow are using secure but accessible high performance computing, and in particular ScotGrid,
to run simulations to investigate the physical variability of
Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) transistors. The use of e-Infrastructure also includes the management of large amounts of research data and the use of a secure environment for collaboration with other research groups. The eIUS Project is funded by the JISC and supported by the University of Oxford and University of Manchester.
