  • @majmail, going natural is DEFFFFF not the best for all hair types. I was natural for 4 years and so reluctant to relax my hair when I finally started wearing it out, but relaxing turned out to be the BEST thing for me. Natural my extremely tightly curled hair broke daily, although it was healthy I was losing length and shedding. Now my hair is manageable, healthy, and gorgeous. It's all about how you take care of it. End of story.

  • @AscendByYah girrl i went natural 4 11 month nd all it did was break my hair nd thicken it,suks

  • @Cyndeiify relaxing the hair is not a hairstyle is changing and altering ur natural hair texture you were born with, sure it make it easier to deal with but u can do way more with natural hair, with natural hair thats curly , curly hairsytles and still flat iron for that relaxed look..even if your hair is super course, my hair is medium but very curly i relaxed my hair a lot in my life, now im natural 8 months, relaxer damages your even in moderation with stretching it still sodium hydroxide

  • I read all these things with people saying don't relax , go natural, etc. Relaxing the hair is a hairstyle, some need it some don't. For me, my hair is down to my bra strap and I get it relaxed every 8 weeks. However, I am learning to stretch it. But I know that even if I can stretch it for a while, my hair is VERY thick and will need a relaxer some time, or for special events. So do what you do girl and good hair!!!

  • post means like how long before another relaxer ?

  • I don't think anyone can tell u what to do it's a decision u must make on ur own. I went natural for 2 years. It takes a lot of work to maintain. I have a 2 year old and a 7 month old. I always felt unpolished. I didn't have the time after having my son to style my hair to my liking. I recently texlaxed my hair and I find it much easier to deal with. Good luck on your hair journey.

  • Girl- go natural. You hair will be healthy and down your back by next year. My last perm was in December, and I already have an inch of growth- and it is SO healthy. Do it! You will be SO happy you did! PS- stop the heat! :) Great video.
