Just make your own by cutting strips from the color plastic bag you want, and tape them on. Don't make them too wide. Or you could use some tinsel if you want something really shiney and light weight. Or if you want black, some tape from an old cassette tape would be very strong and light weight and uniform width. Cut to length, attach with tape or tie to a strut
wow beautiful model dr1... streamers... intersting touch... should of just done a little wind scarf for a dummy pilot tho... now strafe a schoolbus full of children with it.. or some stray dogs
What's crazy is that Richthofen flew most of his career in inferior aircraft compared to what the allies had. He preferred the Dr.1 to the Albatross, but he didn't start flying it until towards the end of his life - he shot down 80 planes total, but his first kill in a dr.1 was his 60th. Imagine what he could have done in D. VII's or VIII's.
Fokker was actually a dutch company that made planes for Germany in WWI.
Each plane in WWI has different stregths and weakness, but the Red Baron prefered the Fokker tri-plane (although a slow plane) because of it's climb rate, plus nothing could out-turn it in a dogfight. Very hard to handle though...

You can have a museum replica for around 150k USD, i.e. with the original engine and everything else around it recreated according to original spec
