I hate people that hate for stupid reasons like yours.I would rather drive than fly,, so that makes me a "coward"? I dont think so.I dont care if statistically flying is safer than driving.I have ony flew a few times before 911,,,cant imagine the trouble it must be today.Its not just the fear of flying,,its also airport parking,,high price tickets,,security,,long lines,,layovers,,delays,,need I say more? So,, drive when you can,fly when you have to,,nuff said!

Look man,,the fact remains is that its more practicle to drive when you can for reasons I have already mentioned.If you would rather fly,,then thats great,,no disrespect towards you.I'm just defending people like me that would rather drive than fly.I'm sure those commercial pilots are the best at what they do but I would still rather drive when I can.Some fly commercially because they have to,,, but few enjoy it.Lets just leave it at that.

@Doamino41 What does it matter if you are in control? Commercial pilots are much better qualified and experienced at flying the type of planes they do than most people are at driving their own car! And there are lots of idiots on the roads. Commercial pilots are all "good safe pilots" because they will lose their jobs if they aren't...

You guys that hate people that dont like to fly are IDIOTS! When you drive you are in control,,,you dont have that advantage when your flying in a passenger airline.You also have the long lines,,security,,airport parking,,high ticket prices and layovers.More reasons to hate public flying.Statistically flying IS safer than driving but people will still avoid flying if they can.Me,, I have been driving when you were in diapers,, Im a good safe driver,Ill stick with that.
