Vocalist Cheryl Lescom steals the crowd's hearts with an original song at the Kitchener Blues Festival, August 2008, with Ray Walsh and Dave "The Cat" on guitars.
My name is Brad Lapointe and I use to bartend at the Mandarin Duck in Waterloo and we use to book Cheryl all the time and that bar was always full. She has one of the best blues voices and yes I will say it of all time. Love you Cheryl.
I once worked at a TV station and sometimes had to hook up mics etc. for bands performing on the show. Lots of bands came in with mega-attitudes but Cheryl was by far the most friendly, gracious, classy artist I dealt with. Just seemed like a real cool lady.
I've seen her bring grown men to tears with her rendition of "I'd rather go Blind". When she did it at the Southside Shuffle in Port Credit, there wasn't a dry eye! What an incredible talent and how lucky is Kitchener to have her!
Cheryl's the greatest! Love that voice, great gal too! Did sound for her a few times around Halifax Nova Scotia! Taped her one night at the "Shore Club" in Hubbards, it sounded great. I still have the tape!
