So sorry for for your loss. My wife and I also experienced a loss from vasa previa this past August. Grayson Carter Apgar was 41 weeks and during induction my wife experienced bright red bleeding. We lost him 24 hours after her emergency c-section. Sadly it was undiagnosed, even after a level II ultrasound. My wife and I are also going to raise awareness of this tragic anomaly so that no one has to experience the loss of a healthy baby like we have.

My son passed away on the 10th of June 2010, He as born on the 8th but only lived for 36 hours after i ruptured at home. I was prenatally diagnosed but due to poor management and lack of understanding the necessities in the event of a rupture by my doctors my son isn't here today. Thank you for making this video to help raise awareness for VP. My heart breaks for all families experiencing the effects of Vasa Previa, your son is truly Beautiful. Thoughts and prayers xx

September 21 2006 Our family suffered from this same thing but i seen most of these pics and it just reminded me of ali all over agin same pics "crazy" I'm so sorry for your loss as well as any one else "keep us in our prayers cuz each day will get better but hold your head up high"

It's so sad, we also never heared from Vasa Previa. The same happened 2 days ago the beautifull little girl from my coussin and her husband also past away after 9 months. It's so unfair, there aren't any words that can discribe the pain. We're waiting with so much love to give her...

We lost our Alicia May 18, 2008 to vasa previa. Unfortunately that was the first day I even heard of vasa previa. My heart goes out to you and I hope that those of us who have lost ours to this condition are able to help save even one baby. Dane is a beautiful angel.

I am a nurse who was there that day, and I'm sure you wouldn't remember me, I was one of the nurses helping to get you to the OR. I saw this video and had to let you know how much of an impact your son's life has made on mine. I still think about that day, and I hope that you are healing. You continue to have my deepest sympathies and prayers.
