The United States was intended to be a constitutional republic, where we elect our representatives to represent us. Now, they're acting like royalty, and we beg and plead with them. Please don't take away any more of my rights. They work for us! Stop begging! Call and tell them what you want, and let them know you're watching and you will work to vote them out if they oppose you. If they're in favor of big government, they are not representing the people. Politicians take an oath to uphold our Constitution and they ignore that oath and disregard our Constitution. We've reached the point where our government is working against us in almost every instance, and the only way that's going to change is to elect representatives who represent us.
Nice control on that bump fire!

@efishunter Over one in seven Americans are on food stamps. Would you make it 1 in 5? 1 in 2? Everyone?
"Unemployment benefits" are now extended to almost two years, and there's talk of extending them another year!
Just because people will vote for riches at the expense of someone else, does not make it morally superior to any other form of theft. Nor does it make it magically sustainable.
Wish for free stuff from the government all you want. It won't help when there's nothing left.

@efishunter Where are all of these big government apologists and advocates coming from all of a sudden? :-)
The fact is, socialism is trickle up poverty. Free market capitalism is a very powerful engine that has the power to enrich everyone's lives. For decades, we tolerated big government squeezing more and more, as there was plenty to take. Now we've reached the point where we're Taxed Enough Already, but government keeps taking. Social welfare, corporate welfare, it's all gotta go.

If Usama had flown planes into the Capitol when Congress was in session instead of the Twin Towers, then he would have received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, IMO.

This video makes KY seem good, but The First 48 makes it seem bad.

Thank God for Senator Rand Paul on his efforts to stop the anti-gun Bush/Obama patriot act.
