Is this IR system HL itself or Tamiya compatible one?

@siamyuth IR systems are usually not compatible to each other because of individual codes. This is the radio shack sector tank's own system which has cute explosions after being hit instead of the usual ' shaking all over ' .

Did it work straight from the box? Or did you have to charge the battery for 8 hrs? Mine seems to be totally dead!

This is a tank I bought years ago, & I just now add an IR system to its original air-soft system. However, it is always a good idea to charge the tank battery & put new batteries into the transmitter to try, before assuming the tank is faulty.

I have charged the main battery for 8hrs and have new batteries in the controller. It looks as though the main battery is not charging. Sod it, check out my vids and I will blow it away with my airsoft AK! lol. Just for fun of course.
