I work in HMRC, and Vince Cable is indeed correct about the ways that the additional taxes can be dodged by those with the means to pay for tax advisors. Good to see someone talking some sense :)

Once again it takes the Lib Dems to point out the flipping obvious. The mistakes of the profligate are being paid for by the poor and mid income earners. The few good things in the budget - equate to putting a tax disc on a car with no engine - we aren't going anywhere soon. I don't thnk Labour or the Tories know the meaniing of the word "fair". Squeeze the public sector and trot out the old 'efficiency' diatribe - how much longer does it take for a government to achieve this - 12 more yrs!
