Sudan rejects ICC warrant on Darfur - 12 Feb 09

UN diplomats say the International Criminal Court has decided to issue an arrest warrant for Omar al-Bashir, Sudan's president.
But the country's government has ruled out handing over the president and two other Sudanese citizens previously indicted by the court.
Al Jazeera's James Bays reports.

Why shud bashir face any war crimes, its not like he started what happened in darfur, yes they has been war crimes commited in darfur but to blame everything on bashir is absurd, but blame the rebels who started all this messs, bashir has every right to send an army to fight against rebillion just like any state, does, american and british troops arent any better, their tactics are just as bad looting,abusing and killing

But ICC should also prosecute bush, Cheney Israeli PM...etc. I mean we need the ICC to be fair and impartial, meaning no war-criminal is immune. The ICC double standard confirms its hidden agenda of being a tool of the western powers to exercise geopolitical interests.
