According to the American Anthropological Association, more than 200 women kill their children in the United States each year. Three to five children a day are killed by their parents. Homicide is one of the leading causes of death of children under age four, yet we continue to "persist with the unrealistic view that this is rare behavior," says Jill Korbin, expert on child abuse, who has studied mothers who killed their children.

  • Darlie Routier killed BOTH of her sons. Not just one.

  • @marlley08 You are correct. I recognized my error after I uploaded the video. The point I was making back then was "mother's do kill their own children."

  • I was gonna look that up yesterday Thanks Patti.

  • @yimneycricket1 Your welcome.

  • @yimneycricket1 Your welcome.

  • Just wanted to comment on the Darlie Routier case, there is evidence that she was wrongfully convicted, and I for one do not believe she killed her sons.....just wanted to point that out :D

  • @andreacanadian Well, with any luck perhaps she'll get another trial or over-turn her conviction. Only time will tell.

  • @andreacanadian Darlie Routier was tried and convicted because of the forensic and circumstantial evidence against he, which is damning. What is this "enormous amount of evidence" that proves she didn't do it you guys keep talking about? There is no evidence that points to her innocence, only to her guilt. No, it's not looking good for a new trial because the evidence against her is strong. They'll have to have something new and they don't. Nothing.

  • @2hereagain Yeah I would like to hear this "evidence" as well. Its not as though she was convicted based on the sillystring incident.

  • i dont know why they have kids if they dont pliers dokie brown..dianara didnt leave her backpack...

  • i dont understand why they do these things. do theyreally think they are going to get away with it? its just senseless.

  • It's funny how in today's society, this is usually the finger that gets pointed at fathers.

The one of violence and or abuse. Quite honestly i like it when women expose

    Themselves.

Now though the media and the all other avenues of exposure need to be even more advantageous in there exposure of this truth.

  • @andreacanadian Also, Darlie is still in her federal appeals where she will stay until the new DNA testing is done.

  • @fizziwig88 I know, right? There's nothing new, fizz. There is nothing that points to her innocence, only her guilt.
