Part 1

In this video I show you how to make a very simple web browser using a free program from Microsoft called Visual Basic.

Download Microsoft Visual Basic here:
http://www.microsoft.com/express/vb/

Now, the commands in order to get the buttons working are as follows:

Go
WebBrowser1.Navigate (TextBox1.Text)

Stop
WebBrowser1.Stop

Refresh
WebBrowser1.Refresh

Back
WebBrowser1.GoBack

Forward
WebBrowser1.GoForward

Put these in correctly, and the buttons should function with no malfunctions at all.

  • im on VB6 portable how do i add the web browser tool? its not in the tool box. and when i download VB6 express edition 2008 it wont let me make a new project it says registry acsess not allowed im about done with this! >:(

    please help me PLEASE!

  • Download only the file I used in the video description. If the problem persist, I would have to look way more into it. Or you could go to a tech forums and ask members for help.

  • @dashbyictfd click the web browser, go to properties, and click anchor and make sure it is: top bottom left right.
