Kitten or Prairie Dog? 12.15.08

Adorable 12 week old shaded golden kitten, Sirocco, sits up like a little prairie dog.

your veterinarian of course can help you with ear mites, but the flea product, "Revolution" is effective. It's a "spot on" treatment ... you apply it between the shoulder blades of the cat and it protects against fleas and some worms as well. it comes in diff. doses for diff. weight ranges of the cat. You might be able to get it online if not, talk to your veterinarian.

Ohhh is she ridiculously cute! What's her colour? Looks like a Golden Persian but then she has some darker streaks on her back.

Yes, she is a shaded golden Persian. If you watch some of the more recent videos, you will see those dark marking have just about completely faded. She only has stripes left on the end of her tail... in only a month. Pretty amazing. I think I should have registered her as a Chinchilla golden rather than s shaded golden because she has gotten so light. Shaded goldens CAN retain those dark markings. My Male goldens still has his at age 3.
