  • @bugminded Yeah, I know they're not junk. Just ranting on a bad day. I just feel that a lot of the competition has caught up to or is better than Exmark these days. Good mower but everyone that uses them acts like "OMGZ this is the best mower out there hands down!" This is without even trying an Exmark or using another brand for a good amount of hours. 10 years ago maybe five they were maybe the best but it's 2012 now not 2003. (If I never used Exmark, I wouldn't comment.)

  • @atlbraveswin00 John Deere is a great mower, I agree. But I own an Exmark and have for several years. I definately wouldn't call it "overated junk" . It happens to be the best mower I have ever owned and I haven't had a minutes problem with it. (Its a 2006) Also, I have yet to see a mower cut as pretty as an Exmark. (with all due respect)

  • @atlbraveswin00 I agree im a Deere z900 owner it's the best in any condition.

  • You go Lenny!!! your our man...

  • I understand. I guess I was getting overly defensive of my Exmark. I was looking at it as a homeowner with only one yard to worry about.

  • @kearneydave you obviously have never run more than a few yards a week then. Sure it's not what you want to do but if you are 40 yards behind for one week you don't have the luxury to say "I'll wait till it quits raining" I've been running 78 yards a week for a 5 years and those times have come and when they do I want a mower that can handle it.

  • Just the fact that you would cut grass in the rain proves you have no credibility.

  • Want a better cut quality in any condition (even rain)? Simply get rid of that overrated junk and buy a JD 900 Series Z track with the 7 iron deck. Don't even have to scrape the deck.

How are those Parker pumps going? Thank JD for being the guinea pigs for those.
